Forever in Our Hearts

Janine Marie Repic

Born Janine Young on Wednesday, September 2, 1970 at Anaheim Memorial Hospital in Anaheim, CA.  She was lucky enough to be born with a built-in best friend and fraternal twin sister Janice Young-Mercer.  She also had 2 older sisters Tammy Young-Bonin and Cindy Young-Greenberg who were a big part of her life from the very beginning.

She lived in Anaheim her entire childhood and attended Benito Juarez Elementary, South Junior High and Katella High School where she was a standout Varsity Cheer and Song leader.  It was also at Katella where she met her high school sweetheart, Ted Repic.  They were married on September 12, 1992 at 21 years old and bought a townhome and moved to Corona Hills, CA.

Janine worked at Home Savings and Loan while attending night school at San Bernardino State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business/Accounting.  In 1995 Janine and Ted relocated to Phoenix, AZ where she continued working at Home Savings  until she gave birth to her first son Cameron Michael Repic on July 2, 1996.  She devoted the next 2 years of her life to raising Cameron and she was a great mommy!

On July 8, 1998 she gave birth to her second son Dylan Mitchell Repic.  Now at home with a newborn and a 2 year old, she had her hands full with the kids but still found time to manage the accounting for the growing family security business plus shop, cook, clean, decorate, etc.

In 2002, Janine, Ted, Cameron, Dylan and their 2 labradors Jessie and Casey moved back to California renting a home in Laguna Niguel.  Janine continued staying home with the boys supporting them and getting them ready for and helping them excel in school and sports.

Then in 2005 the family moved to Temecula, CA where they bought a home in Harveston Lake which was a great family neighborhood to raise the boys.  As the boys entered school and needed their mommy less, Janine went to work for the family Security company full time where she managed the finances as well as worked as a secret shopper/undercover investigator.  She travelled the country by herself on several investigations and was a huge part of the companies growth and success.

In 2007, Janine got her Real Estate agent license and started selling real estate in the Temecula/Murrieta area.  In 2011 she separated from Ted and bought her own home in Murrieta where she continued to sell real estate and mother her 2 boys.  In 2018 she bought her dream home in Canyon Lake, CA where she had a golf cart and a pontoon boat to take the boys and family out for holiday fireworks or relaxing Sundays on the lake or at the beach.

Janine passed away on July 4th, 2021 while at her home.  She is survived by her father: Rick Young, sisters: Tammy, Cindy and Janice, sons: Cameron and Dylan, grandson: Cannon, cousins: Steven and Kari, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
